Research & Liaison Officer

Our client is a semi-government organisation and they are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who can work as a Research & Liaison Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Research financial and administrative policies and operations in Australia and in New Zealand.
- Plan and organise events and forums
- Liaise and coordinate with local governments and other external organisations
- Translate documents (English to Japanese, Japanese to English)
Requirements:
- Native in English and fluent in Japanese (JLPT N1 or N2 level preferred)
- Ability to conduct research from different source of information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders is essential
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks at same time
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrate flexibility/ adaptability
- Computer skill (Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Good team player
- Able to travel
Working experience in government related organisations, educational organisations and research institutions or experience with Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET) will be highly regarded. Experience in writing essay or thesis in Japanese would be a plus.
