Coordinator, Clinical Education and Research

 

We are seeking a dynamic, client focused Coordinator, Clinical Education and Research to coordinate a new program funded through Edith Cowan’s University Departments of Rural Health (UDRH). The program aim is to build rural health workforce capacity through providing innovative rural health placements, facilitating quality rural learning experiences. You will also have the opportunity to grow our contribution to innovative Aboriginal health directions and “Closing the Gap” outcomes through collaboration with the SWAMS Research Committee to identity and evaluate funding opportunities and then coordinate health research and health research support activities.

Your role
Your role will include program planning, stakeholder engagement and collaboration, establishing governance frameworks, providing quality and valued experiences for students, leading and overseeing the programs’ human and financial resources and ensuring, measuring and reporting on the delivery of program outputs and outcomes. The role will oversee the development and delivery of a SW Cultural Training package delivered to more than 200 health students per year. The position holder will also be responsible for seeking funding opportunities to undertake and then coordinate health research and health research support activities to enhance the lives of Aboriginal people, within SWAMS regional footprint and/or which contributes to “Closing The Gap” targets and outcomes generally.

Remuneration and conditions
Your salary will be dependent on your qualifications and experience. You can expect to be remunerated with an attractive package which includes a salary of $85,000, 11% superannuation, a generous salary packaging opportunity of up to $15,900 and an annual corporate wardrobe allowance. You are encouraged to attend professional development courses and conferences. Family friendly work arrangements to support your quality of life are supported.
