The Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences (FMNHS), is the largest faculty at Monash University and offers the most comprehensive suite of professional health training in Victoria. We consistently rank in the top 40 universities worldwide for clinical, pre-clinical and health sciences.

Within the FMNHS and based at the Alfred precinct in Prahran, the Central Clinical School (CCS) is a centre for clinical and biomedical research and education and a core hub for translational research and medicine, covering a great breadth of subject areas.

Reporting to the School Manager the focus of this role will be to utilise senior-level, specialist knowledge to oversee and deliver high-quality services to support the diverse research portfolio of the Central Clinical School. 

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for overseeing, developing and project managing major new School-wide initiatives, contributing to strategic and operational planning, managing a research administration program and managing and developing a highly trained, motivated and efficient research services and administration team. 

The appointee will have an undergraduate Science or Biomedical Science Degree with Honours. Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
