In a growing phase, you will have the opportunity to develop and nurture your teaching style in this role. Collaboration is key, with a focus on teachers helping one another to understand best teaching practices.

Working with a large cohort of learning needs you have the opportunity to help students realise their value, individuality, and the positive impact they can have on the lives of others.

Seeking a compassionate, empathetic, and experienced Special Education Teacher from Term 2 or sooner.

The Role:

  • Teach small groups of special needs students interventions, covering numeracy and literacy.
  • Support the teacher to develop, monitor, evaluate, and review Individual Learning Plans in collaboration with class teachers and parents/carers.
  • Train other teachers in best practices
  • Opportunity for progression and development
  • Work in a school with a large cohort of learning needs and small class sizes

To be successful you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications
  • QCT registration
  • Compassion and empathy
  • Active Christian faith
  • A hands on approach
  • Interpersonal and communication skills of a high standard
  • Experience in learning support in primary school
