The Role
The position of Deputy Principal has recently become available as part of the senior leadership team. Reporting directly to the Principal, the role will significantly contribute to the College's continued success.
We are actively seeking applications from aspiring leaders and leaders who have a passion and zest for the education sector, supporting students who are disengaged from mainstream schools.
Key responsibilities of this pivotal role include:
- Assist in the achievement of operational and strategic goals
- Ensure individualised education support plans are developed
- Support student growth and development and employee development
- Accurate and timely reporting procedures are adhered to in conjunction with the Curriculum and VET Coordinator
- Deputises for the Principal during periods of absence
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders utilising well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
The successful applicant will have a proven record of successful Secondary School leadership with a thorough understanding of working with students who are disengaged and/or have other learning difficulties and disabilities.
The role commences Term 2, 2023
