The Role
The Finance Officer is a crucial member of the College Team and is responsible for the financial operations of the College community, including oversight of all financial functions and facilities management. The Finance Officer provides the College Community with efficient and effective finance, accounting and administration services.
Your role will ensure the accurate completion of all tasks, including all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Other accounts tasks will be required from time to time to fulfil monthly accounts functions and other office duties. As part of the College team, it is essential to be organised and have a can-do attitude.
To be successful, you'll need
- A personal, active, Christian faith
- Be a team player who can work independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive problem solver with excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
- Proficiency in MS office and possesses knowledge of accounting systems, ideally a school management system
- Must hold or attain a Blue Card for Working with Children in Queensland
- Relevant qualifications and experience
- Ability to relocate to move to a beautiful central QLD town
