The position is full-time and continuing, based at the Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas. An attractive remuneration package of up to $100,979 per annum is on offer, including superannuation and leave loading.

WHAT YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH IN THE ROLE
As a highly valued member of the Digital Workspace Development Team, you’ll be responsible for the analysis, design, implementation and support of computer desktop and mobile operating environments at JCU. You’ll participate in digital workspace environment and team planning processes, with a focus on enhancing the user experience and delivering high-quality outcomes for students and staff. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in projects, contributing to optimal business outcomes for JCU.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
With a degree qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline and relevant experience in designing and implementing desktop operating systems and management solutions, you’ll have a track record of delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and meeting time-critical deadlines. You’re an excellent communicator, confident in collaborating with a variety of stakeholders at different levels with an ability to contribute to continuous improvement in team functioning and customer service delivery. You’ll bring significant analytical and problem-solving skills to design and implement solutions in mobile computing environments, and you’ll also be able to demonstrate your ability to prepare quality process schematics, system documentation and technical specifications. Whilst not essential, experience in the higher education sector and/or experience with PowerShell and Apple scripting is highly desirable.
