An excellent opportunity is available for highly motivated individuals to join an outstanding team working on the Australian Stroke Clinical Registry (AuSCR) which is managed by The Florey (the Data Custodian).
The AuSCR is a national clinical quality registry which collects a minimum dataset of acute care information including the treatment and health outcomes for all hospitalised patients who have had a stroke or transient ischaemic attack. We are conducting innovative projects alongside the AuSCR to enhance the experience of people after stroke including how we collect survey data after they leave hospital and communicate their data back to hospital clinicians.
We are seeking appropriately qualified, Melbourne-based research assistants for the AuSCR to work within the Public Health and Health Services Research Group within The Florey. The AuSCR team is based at the Austin campus in Heidelberg, Victoria.
The position involves working closely with and supporting AuSCR Senior Program/Data Managers and Hospital Coordinators, and other AuSCR office team members. Working relationships with the clinical teams from participating hospitals and epidemiologists from Monash University are also required.

A background in the field of stroke or cardiovascular disease is highly desirable.
An indicative salary is in the range of $61,198 - $76,016 commensurate with experience, (plus 14% superannuation and generous salary packaging options).
