Provide quality advice and support to the JCU research community on research funding and grant opportunities, applications, and administration
Creating a brighter future for life in the Tropics and beyond, through education and research that makes a difference locally, and globally, James Cook University (JCU) is now looking to appoint a Research Grants and Opportunities Advisor. This is a full-time continuing opportunity and can based at any JCU Campus.
How you’ll make a difference
We welcome applications from candidates from diverse career experiences and backgrounds, including business, government, non-for-profit, the health sector or education sectors, with experience in contributing to and managing strategic initiatives, projects and/or funding programs.
You will work collaboratively with the JCU research community to ensure research and grant funding opportunities and sector developments are communicated in a timely fashionProviding quality advice on research and grant tender application policies, procedures, and administration you will support JCU researchers to submit competitive and successful applications and will be instrumental in promoting JCU’s research performance and strategic research intent.
