The CERC Fellow will work on projects which will have an impact through real-world applications (such as contributing to efforts that help our threatened species) as well as through publications.

Your duties will include:

  • Research and develop natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML) approaches in the areas of information extraction and/or text-to-text generation.
  • Research and develop NLP-related technologies, with application to scientific literature and technical documents.
  • Conduct ML/NLP experiments, prepare data set and scientific publications.
  • Collaborate with the LaSC team in researching, developing and deploying novel NLP and ML solutions for industry and government.
