JCU Townsville are offering an exciting new opportunity for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow ($67,010 - $89,541 plus 17% superannuation) to join our world-leading University on a full time and fixed-term appointment up to 24 months.

What you can accomplish in the role

This is a rewarding role for you to join the award-winning Psychology of Active, Healthy Living (PAHL) group in the Psychology Department at James Cook University. PAHL is focused on translational health psychology – having an outward focus and applying psychological principles for the design and delivery of community health programs. You will have a key role in the design, promotion, delivery, and evaluation of various PAHL programs in Australia.

 

What you will bring to the role

You will bring a PhD in health psychology with experience in the publication of academic journal articles. A passion for and strong commitment to the Psychology of Active, Healthy Living (PAHL) group will ensure your success in this exciting new role. Any experience in the design of online programs and/or online health interventions will be highly regarded; however, such experience is not essential.
