About This Opportunity

As the key player responsible for leading the review of the University’s approach to staff learning & development (L&D), the L&D Project Manager has the opportunity to lead and influence the future state of this crucial function. Our successful candidate will produce both strategic and operational recommendations regarding the design and implementation of appropriate governance, frameworks and processes.

The L&D Project Manager will need to engage widely within the University and swiftly build influential relationships with a host of stakeholders to assess the current state and future requirements. This role will also contribute to the configuration and delivery of our Learning Management System, a key facet of our ongoing Workday implementation. This position is located at our picturesque St Lucia campus, renowned as one of Australia’s most attractive university campuses, and located just 7km from Brisbane’s city centre. Bounded by the Brisbane River on three sides, and with outstanding public transport connections, our 114-hectare site provides a perfect work environment – you can enjoy the best of both worlds: a vibrant campus with the tradition of an established university.

Our Ideal Candidate

You’ll possess a postgraduate qualification (or an equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education), with extensive project management expertise across the L&D life cycle. Your experience in designing, delivering and leading organisational development initiatives within complex organisations will be exemplary. A reputation for efficient and timely delivery is essential.

Skills in designing and delivering high quality L&D programs, including eLearning solutions, will be highly regarded, plus demonstrable experience in leadership capability measurement and development. The Selection Criteria can be found embedded within the Position Description (PD) below.

What We Can Offer

This is a full-time, fixed term (12 month) position at HEW level 8. 

The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $98,298 to $110,376 per annum plus 9.5% super. The total FTE package will be in the range $107,636 - $120,861 per annum.
