About This Opportunity

As the Organisational Development Consultant you will be responsible for the design and implementation of initiatives in a range of areas including performance, talent management, change, leadership, culture, and organisational capability at UQ. You will be a key part of our dynamic team, working collaboratively to provide expertise, guidance and coaching to the various HR teams across the University. As a trusted advisor to HR management and senior staff across UQ, you will cultivate productive and influential working relationships and support successful change management activities.

This position is located at our picturesque St Lucia campus, renowned as one of Australia’s most attractive university campuses, and located just 7km from Brisbane’s city centre. Bounded by the Brisbane River on three sides, and with outstanding public transport connections, our 114-hectare site provides a perfect work environment – you can enjoy the best of both worlds: a vibrant campus with the tradition of an established university.

Our Ideal Candidate

You will have a passion for organisational development and an extensive knowledge and understanding of contemporary OD practise and trends. You will have experience successfully designing, delivering and leading organisational development strategies and initiatives, from conception through to implementation and evaluation in a large diverse organisation. The focus of this role will be driving and implementing significant HR transformation activities in performance development, talent management and change. We are looking for a confident, driven and solutions-focused OD practitioner who will drive innovation, foster great ideas and instil a strong culture of service excellence and quality output.

What We Can Offer

This is a full-time, continuing position at HEW level 8. 

The base salary will be in the range $98,298 - $110,376 per annum, plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range $115,008 - $129,139 per annum.
