Position overview

The Finance & Business Services Division at the Australian National University is seeking an experienced, energetic, and motivated individual to join the Financial Planning and Analysis team in the role of Finance Manager of Central Portfolios. This individual will play a key role in providing comprehensive and insightful management reporting, analysis and advice to the University’s Portfolio and Administrative Business units supporting the achievement of the University’s strategic goals.

The successful candidate will work within the Central Portfolios team delivering timely, effective and value added financial management and reporting services and leads the team which supports delivery of these services to the University’s Service Divisions. The position will build and maintain effective professional relationships across campus and represent the Division, as required, for University wide initiatives. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, have extensive people management and engagement experience and proven ability in building high performance teams. Equally as important is the ability to communicate effectively across all areas of the University, be focused on continuous improvement, be well organised and capable to deliver on multiple priorities and key business initiatives.
