The Student Administration Directorate supports the University’s academic decision-making processes through academic policy formulation, providing administrative support for student and academic-related matters and delivering process improvement initiatives to improve the student and faculty user experience. The Systems development team develop and deliver business enhancements to student systems and associated processes to ensure business requirements of the University are met.

As Coordinator, Student Systems Development you will use your sound project management and IT skills to lead business improvement projects for student systems and associated processes. This will involve:

  • working with senior staff across the University to identify opportunities for student system and process improvement
  • identifying required resources, coordinating workflow, assigning tasks and reporting on progress
  • developing and implementing technical solutions to enhance user experience and outcomes
  • communicating with internal and external suppliers to negotiate resolutions to technical issues
  • providing effective leadership to a small team of Analysts.

You will need to demonstrate:

  • relevant tertiary qualifications and extensive relevant experience in business/solution analysis
  • experience having worked on a number of business improvement projects
  • skills in problem solving and seeking effective outcomes to meet business requirements
  • the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with teams to deliver shared goals.

Total remuneration valued to $102,292 - $114,363 pa, including salary component $93,417 - $104,441 pa (Higher Education Worker Level 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
