The King David School is seeking a dynamic Head of Student Services who is highly organised, an excellent communicator, and has a demonstrated capacity to lead.

The Head of Student Services is responsible for overseeing the functions of the Student Services Department which includes Learning Support, Psychological Services, Disability Support and English as a Second Language. This specifically entails assisting all students to achieve all that they are capable of in the academic, social and emotional domains.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised degree in Special Education and have extensive experience as a Learning Support Teacher in a school setting, working with a wide age range of students.

Other essential skills include a broad knowledge of a wide range of special education test instruments; a proven ability in remediation techniques in both literacy and numeracy; and the ability to write IEP's (Individual Education Plans) and run PSG's. An extensive knowledge of NCCD is also required.
