The Role

• Fixed Term (until April 2022), Full Time
• AU$83,671 to AU$112,099 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
• Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia

You will contribute to the Research Project; "Dung beetle ecosystem engineers - enduring benefits for livestock producers via science and a new community partnership model", funded by the Commonwealth Government Department of Agriculture and Water Resources.

Your research and communication will help enhance the impact of dung beetles on farming systems throughout southern Australia, especially by leading a program of mass rearing of dung beetles including newly-introduced, exotic species.

To be successful you will have:

• A PhD in a relevant area of life science and previous experience in a relevant area of research.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a research team and successfully carry out applied research.
• Demonstrated organisational and leadership/supervisory skills.
