The Role

  • Continuing, Full Time
  • $64,482 to $109,391 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga or Port Macquarie
You will actively engage in teaching, research and curriculum development related to Medical Radiation Sciences in the School of Dentistry and Health Sciences. The appointee will have extensive clinical experience within the field of medical imaging and can demonstrate education experience within the clinical and/or academic setting. The appointee will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects which will include specialisation specific content relating to professional practice, general radiography, imaging anatomy and imaging pathology, instrumentation, clinical simulation and/or medical radiation science. It will be expected that multiple teaching methods (face to face and online delivery) methods are utilised. The appointee will participate in the administration and ongoing curriculum development that aligns with both the University and Schools direction.

To be successful you will have:

  • Appropriate qualifications as outlined in the selection criteria
  • Eligibility for full registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Evidence of the delivery of high quality student centred learning and teaching
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the discipline
  • Sound analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills combined with high level written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
