The Role

• Continuing, Full Time
• Level B $92,117 to $109,391 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
• Bathurst or Port Macquarie

The Lecturer in Exercise Science will actively engage in teaching, research and curriculum development related to exercise physiology, exercise prescription and research methods within the scope of the School's teaching programs. The appointee will be responsible for co-ordinating and teaching the WPL curriculum in Exercise Science and Clinical Exercise Physiology and where appropriate, related subjects. The successful applicant will be expected to engage in multiple teaching methods (face to face and online delivery). The appointee will participate in the administration and ongoing curriculum development and progress an active research or professional profile that aligns with both the University and School's direction.

To be successful you will have:

• A bachelor and postgraduate qualification relevant to Clinical Exercise Physiology
• Be eligible for accreditation with Exercise Physiology or Sports Science with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA)
• A strong emphasis and experience in WPL curriculum design and implementation
• A capacity to work with the Faculty Workplace Learning (WPL) Team to place students in appropriate clinical learning placements
• Teaching experience in topics such as exercise physiology, exercise testing and prescription at a tertiary institution
• Strong networking skills and an ability to support the national and international positioning of the School and specific disciplines
