The Role

• Continuing, Full Time
• $64,482 to $109,391 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)
• Wagga Wagga x 1 and Port Macquarie x 1

To be successful you will have extensive clinical experience within the field of medical radiation science and can demonstrate education experience within the clinical and/or academic setting. You will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects within the Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science which will specifically include specialisation specific content to include all aspects of general radiographic practice, imaging anatomy and imaging pathology and radiographic instrumentation.

Ideally you will have additional clinical and/or education expertise in magnetic resonance imaging, and/or interventional radiology and/or mammography and/or image interpretation.

The Medical Radiation Science discipline has dedicated state of the art modern x-ray facilities, an online multi-device Picture Archiving & Communications System (PACS) and recently installed an immersive virtual radiotherapy treatment simulator (VERT).

To be successful you will have:

• A Bachelor qualification or postgraduate qualification, relevant to the discipline of medical radiation science or equivalent accreditation and standing;
• Eligibility for full registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
• Demonstrated capacity to work both collaboratively and independently in a large complex academic setting with an outcome focus;
