 About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional CEO to lead Open Minds through the next exciting phase of changes and beyond. Key to your success will be building a collaborative, high performing culture and team, as well ensuring you're leading the development of outstanding stakeholder relationships, business development strategies and engaging with the community to raise awareness of our services and build the brand, services and reputation of Open Minds.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in health / business administration, human services or social sciences, coupled with significant experience (5-10 years) in a senior leadership role in a related sector. You will have significant ability to think and act strategically and demonstrated experience and success in the implementation of strategic initiatives/priorities.

You will need exemplary leadership capability, particularly in being able to inspire, motivate, develop, engage people and improve organisational culture and performance. Capability to publicly represent an organisation and maintain relationships with key stakeholders particularly Government and funding organisations is also crucial.

You will need the ability to work with and assist the Board, and have an understanding of organisational governance. Strong understanding of financial and cash flow management to a level that enables robust decision making regarding the organisations activities will also be important.
