SALARY RANGE: $110,906 - $127,681 pa (plus 17% super)
HOURS OF DUTY: Full-time (36.75 hours per week)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Fixed term to 31 July 2021
LOCATION OF POSITION: Melbourne Burwood Campus
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a full-time research position for a fixed term of five years, co-funded by the Cancer Council Victoria (CCV). The time fraction may vary during the period of appointment. The position is located within Deakin Health Economics (DHE), but the appointee will be required to locate in the CCV for 3 days per fortnight. DHE is a self-funding research unit that specialises in economic appraisal, health technology assessment and priority setting.
The appointee will primarily co-lead the development of an emerging stream focused on the economics of cancer. The appointee will also contribute to research output, consulting, government partnerships and professional activities of DHE. The Senior Research Fellow may need to undertake limited postgraduate teaching and administrative responsibilities focussed on the economics of cancer and/or other areas of their expertise.
