The Opportunity

With schools on three continents and a place in the top 1% of world business schools, the Faculty of Business and Economics typifies this global orientation and commitment to excellence.

Monash University is the only University within the prestigious Group of Eight to have achieved triple accreditation for its Business School. 'Triple crown' accreditation is an exclusive quality indicator that reflects a truly international reputation.

The faculty, which comprises Monash Business School in Australia as well as schools in South Africa and Malaysia, is amongst the biggest business schools anywhere in the world and it is home to almost a quarter of Monash's student body. Research-intensive, its departments range across disciplines such as accounting, banking and finance, economics, econometrics, business law and taxation, management and marketing.

Monash Business School is seeking to recruit a Senior Operational Services Manager to provide high level advice to senior staff on operational, strategic development and physical space issues including leadership and oversight of the administrative functions in support of the seven discipline-based departments.

In this leadership position, you will play a key part in shaping the future of the business school as it expands its professional workforce. This investment in people will give the business school the scope and flexibility to build on its core capabilities and also to pursue strategic opportunities in research and education, to secure new revenue streams and to build enduring relationships with industry, government and other stakeholders.

You will have extensive executive management experience in a complex environment and proven capability in developing high performing teams. Your ability to forge successful collaborations will be vital for your success in implementing strategic objectives and driving large scale change within a complex environment.
