The Institute for Sustainable Futures (ISF) is looking to recruit a highly talented and experienced researcher for a Research Principal role, to work on innovative research projects in the field of sustainable passenger transport. The Institute is a participating unit in the UTS: Transport Research Centre, which fosters customer-centred transport technology research, teaching and learning programs undertaken by multi-disciplinary research teams from across various UTS faculties.
ISF carries out game-changing research, focusing on problem framing, strategic planning and service centered least cost planning approaches. By combining analysis of operational, behavioural and governance features relating to multi-modal transport networks, the key pillars of sustainability - economic, social, cultural and environment - are harmonised to create the research and technology innovation outcomes that distinguish ISF.
Established for 20 years, ISF works with thought leaders in government, the transport industry and community organisations, in Australia and internationally, to create change towards sustainable futures.

Remuneration
Base Salary Range: $98,447 to $112653 pa Level B
This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary. Employee benefits include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.
This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for three years.
