The Graduate School of Health (GSH) is recruiting for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to play a key role in contributing to, developing and delivering subjects within Clinical Psychology.

The UTS: Graduate School of Health (GSH) currently delivers graduate-entry master’s degrees and high impact research in four disciplines: pharmacy, clinical psychology, orthoptics, and health policy.

The Master of Clinical Psychology offers a unique and innovative practice-based degree producing highly skilled graduates ready for the workforce. The School has a strong research profile and is committed to research that shapes future psychology practice.

Building on this success, the School seeks to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer who will have a key role in contributing to, developing and delivering subjects in the Master of Clinical Psychology as well as engaging in research appropriate to the strategic direction of the School.

Responsibilities:

The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer will contribute to the learning, teaching and research within Clinical Psychology in the Graduate School of Health as follows:

  • Develop, deliver and contribute to subjects within the Master of Clinical Psychology and other degrees as required
  • Engage in research appropriate to the strategic research direction of Clinical Psychology
  • Establish and develop productive collaborative research activity internally with colleagues in the discipline, School and University and externally with other broader based research partners
  • Foster, promote and develop links with industry, government, academic and professional bodies, including undertaking consultancies where appropriate
  • Assist in curriculum development and contribute to the overall development of teaching and learning

To be successful in this role you will possess demonstrated knowledge in areas directly relevant to Clinical Psychology, alongside the ability to teach and coordinate Clinical Psychology related subjects, contribute to curriculum development and undertake empirical research.

Remuneration

Salary Range:

(Level B) $96,992 to $110,988 pa   (Level C) $117,906 to $131,743

The university offers 17% employer provided superannuation and salary packaging opportunities. This appointment will be on a full-time, continuing basis.
