About the opportunity

UON Graduate Research plays a major role in ensuring UON has established goals and lead strategies to ensure it has a sector-leading Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program, attractive to both domestic and international candidates and is active in engaging with industry and the wider community.

In this critical role, the Project Manager, HDR Development and Implementation will be responsible for the implementation of institution-wide HDR initiatives that will facilitate the achievement of UON's Strategic Plan goals regarding provision of HDR programs, and the promotion of opportunities to stakeholders.

These initiatives will increase the profile and reputation of the UON in the HDR sector both nationally and internationally. Specifically, this will involve:

  • fostering the development and implementation of strategies related to the implementation of a comprehensive HDR program that ensures that our graduates undertake world-leading translational research, connecting research to society, and develop skills and experiences that facilitate future career success, and
  • maximising UON's ability to attract high quality HDR candidates.

This opportunity is provided on a full-time, 2 year fixed term contract basis.
