MLC School is looking for a skilled and compassionate Head of Student Health and Wellbeing who will educate and inspire young women to be fearless thinkers with moral courage and compassion to be agents of change in their own lives and in the lives of others.
About MLC School
Founded in 1886, MLC School is an independent, nonselective Uniting Church school for girls from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 in Sydney’s inner-west. Our tagline ‘dare to be more’ is not only our goal for our students, it applies equally to our staff.

About the position
The Head of Student Health and Wellbeing will be a registered psychologist who is responsible for the leadership and delivery of counselling and psychological services across the student body, designing and conducting counselling programs from Pre K-12, and for providing external referrals to support the wellbeing and academic needs of students in the full range of domains. In this context, the Head of Student Health and Wellbeing is the team leader who oversees provision of specialist advice to executive, teachers, parents and carers regarding students experiencing psychological, social or emotional distress.
