Overview
The ANU College of Medicine, Biology and Environment (CMBE) brings together medical, biological, population health, psychological and environmental sciences in six schools: the ANU Medical School, the Fenner School of Environment and Society, the John Curtin School of Medical Research, the Research School of Biology, the Research School of Population Health, and the Research School of Psychology. Together the Schools integrate high level research with a research-led curriculum that encompasses all of these different areas.

The Role
The ANU Medical School fosters excellence and creativity in our future doctors and medical scientists, delivers an innovative and continuously improving curriculum, and makes important contributions to health and medical research within the College. The School operates in a complex internal and external environment spanning the health and university sectors. The School Manager is a key member of the Medical School Executive team and enables the School's endeavours by providing strategic advice and direction to the Dean of the Medical School. The position further ensures the smooth operation and administration of the School in order that the strategic objectives of the School are realised.

The Person
Under the broad direction of the Dean of the Medical School and in collaboration with the General Manager of the Colleges of Science, you will contribute to School, College and University level planning. Your strong business acumen and passion for communicating strategically and effectively with a broad range of key stakeholders will be critical assets as you manage the School's financial, physical, technical, human resource, student admissions and external relations portfolios to advance the education, research, clinical service and outreach objectives of the School.

If you have broad leadership and generalist administration experience, sound knowledge of the health and university sectors, a collaborative approach, and proven strengths in leading and implementing workplace change, we would welcome your application.
