About the roles 

  • Full-time, Level B
  • Position 1: Convertible Tenure Track 
  • Position 2: Fixed Term (5 years) 
  • Suitable candidates will be considered for both positions. Only one application is required

The School of Chemistry at the University of New South Wales is seeking to appoint two Level B lecturers in chemistry. These lecturers will contribute to the research and teaching in the School. The lecturers will also carry out activities to maintain and develop his/her scholarly, research and/or professional activities relevant to the profession or discipline.

About you

To be successful in this application you will have: 

 A PhD specialising in chemistry, an area of analytical or physical chemistry or a cognate discipline. 

  • Research or industry experience in any area of chemistry (Position 1) or analytical chemistry, and/or sensors (Position 2).
  • Demonstrated capacity to conduct independent research and a track record of excellence in research publications.
  • Demonstrated ability or potential to attract research funding and to build a research team.
  • Demonstrated ability or potential for high quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
