The Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute is dedicated to finding cures for cardiovascular disease through world class medical research. Established in 1994, it is the legacy of legendary heart transplant surgeon Victor Chang. Renowned for the quality of its breakthroughs, the Victor Chang Institute is working to discover better ways to diagnose, treat and ultimately prevent the onset of heart disease.

The role

The Fundraising Administration Assistant is an important part of our Fund Development team.

In this role you will:

  • Process and receipt donations to the Institute
  • Data entry and update donor information in our Raiser’s Edge database
  • Respond to calls and inquiries from donors and the public
  • Assist with making thank you calls to supporters of the Institute

  • Are experienced in using Raiser’s Edge or a similar database
  • Are a friendly person who enjoys working in a team but can also work independently
  • Are detail oriented with excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Possess strong verbal communication skills
  • Have the ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Are eager to learn and develop your skills
