The Team

The Institute for Safety Compensation and Recovery Research (ISCRR) creates knowledge and influences thinking so that people can lead healthier lives. Established in 2009, it is a collaboration between Monash University and WorkSafe Victoria (WorkSafe). WorkSafe is the state's regulator of workplace health and safety and workers' compensation system, and ISCRR is a multi-disciplinary research and knowledge translation institute that has developed an innovative collaborative research model. ISCRR conducts and facilitates research that supports WorkSafe to drive improvements in health and social outcomes in occupational health and safety, rehabilitation and compensation practice.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Research Program and Operations Manager to join a talented team who work hard together to create knowledge and influence thinking so that people can lead healthier lives.

Managing all aspects of ISCRR’s Research Program Management and Operations function, you will lead and facilitate external research management activities while also managing and enhancing the Institute’s operations.

Working in this senior position within the Institute and closely with the Director, you will manage the budget and reporting function to provide support to the management team and enable the delivery of a high-quality research program for WorkSafe and their clients. Managing a small team, you will enhance, build and maintain strong current and potential internal and external partnerships, and drive the achievement of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated. The position is based in Melbourne with work from home options, and with some travel to our co-located office at WorkSafe in Geelong.
