CSIRO Early Research Career (CERC) Postdoctoral Fellowships provide opportunities to scientists and engineers who have completed their doctorate and have less than three years of relevant postdoctoral work experience. These fellowships aim to develop the next generation of future leaders of the innovation system.
We have an opportunity for a postdoctoral researcher to join the Australian National Insect Collection (ANIC) and collaborate with a team of research scientists in delivering a research project on Australian auger and furniture beetles for the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF).
The National Collections and Marine Infrastructure is a unique worldwide hub for Natural History Research that covers basic science through its application and includes large plant and animal research collections, significant marine infrastructure and the Atlas of Living Australia. The ANIC is the largest collection of Australian insects, mites and nematodes. ANIC staff conducts world class research on invertebrate taxonomy, systematics, genomics, diagnostics, biology and ecology.

Salary: AU$92k - AU$101k plus up to 15.4% superannuation
