We are seeking a creative and efficient Content Specialist to join our growing team, and bring their experience in creating educational content and resources to enhance various CSIRO STEM programs!
Managed by CSIRO Education and Outreach (CEdO) unit, Generation STEM is a long-term initiative working with industry, government and education sectors to attract, support, train and retain students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) career pathways. As part of this initiative, we currently have three programs being delivered throughout NSW:
As the Content Specialist, you will be at the heart of the Generation STEM Program, developing education-based content and program materials to be used by students, teachers, educators, industry partners and various other internal & external stakeholders. These materials could be in the form of program activities, workshop materials, learning resources and other support materials as required for individual programs. You will also be reviewing content based on feedback and implementing changes/improvements to ensure the materials are appropriate and engaging for their intended audiences, which will ultimately contribute to the success of the programs.

Location: Sydney, NSW
Salary: AU$87K – AU$98K pa + up to 15.4% superannuation
Tenure: Specified Term until 31 December 2023; Full-time (preferred); Part-time (may be considered if required, minimum 0.6 FTE)

Appointment to this role is subject to provision of a national police check and may be subject to other security/medical/character requirements. Given the nature of the role, the successful candidate must also hold, or be able to obtain, a valid working with children check prior to confirmation of appointment.
To enter a CSIRO site, CSIRO will require you to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (or show a valid medical exemption from vaccination). If you are unable to meet this requirement, then you must return a negative result on a Rapid Antigen Test (within 48 hours prior to attending site) and wear a face mask whilst on the CSIRO site. These requirements apply if you are attending a CSIRO site as part of a recruitment process.
