Industry Engagement Manager

The Position:

CSIRO Education’s STEM Partnerships in Schools (currently known as SMiS) is seeking a motivated, dynamic team member with high level communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills for the role of Industry Engagement Manager. 

The role is part of a national team, implementing the highly successful STEM Partnerships in Schools program. Through creating and supporting partnerships between teachers and scientists, mathematicians and ICT professionals, this exciting initiative brings real-life science, ICT and mathematics into primary and secondary school classrooms, engaging teachers and students with contemporary research, applications and careers.

Working as part of a collaborative team, the Industry Engagement Manager will contribute to the leadership and growth of the program with particular focus on increasing business and industry engagement and participation in the program.  The role will engage with and build ongoing relationships with external organisations to increase participation, promote the success of their partnerships, increase longevity and sustainability of partnerships and provide support for the regional project team.

Location: Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane
Salary: $92k to $100k plus up to 15.4% superannuation

To be considered you will have relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, hold a current driver’s licence and have the ability to travel both locally and interstate, as required. A valid Working with Children Check, or equivalent, will be required for the successful applicant.
