Band 6 ($83,840-$90,837) plus 9.5% Super plus monthly ADO

Maribyrnong City Council is undergoing significant change in population growth, redevelopment, gentrification, and a transitioning economy is leading to an influx of new residents, businesses and opportunities.

An exciting and rewarding opportunity exists to work with the Maribyrnong City Council's Early Years Team as the Team Leader Early Years. This position mentors a range of Early Years team members to support the high quality provision of portfolios. Additionally this position plays a role in strengthening the local sector by aligning actions and progressing partnership approaches with local Early Years providers.

This position is available for an experienced Early Years professional to:

• Support the delivery and community engagement processes of the Central Registration System (CRS).
• Support the delivery of community development and capacity building activities.
• Support the delivery of the Maribyrnong Supported Playgroup Program.

Work with staff from the local sector to facilitate collaborative actions to build participation and support local families to have clear pathways into universal Early Years Services.

Play a pivotal role in the Early Years Leadership Group and provide active input into strategic planning and policy development.
