The Association of Independent Schools of NSW (AISNSW) is the peak body for independent schools in NSW and provides a range of services to independent schools across the state.

One of the many interesting and exciting initiatives the Association has embarked upon recently is the establishment of a Research Council composed of leading educators within the Independent Schools Sector. The Council’s main role is to commission educational research and provide oversight of a system of school based research grants. The Council is supported by a newly formed Research and Data Unit established within the Association.

We are now seeking to appoint an additional full-time Research Assistant to provide research support both internally and externally whilst working within a dynamic and flexible team.

The successful applicant for this position will have experience in undertaking research and expertise in using education research to inform practice. They will also be an excellent communicator with the ability to understand the impact of global trends and research on the local context.

Applicants are required to provide a copy of their curriculum vitae and a covering letter addressing the role description and analysis available on our website at www.aisnsw.edu.au.

Applications should be received by the close of business on 26th May 2015.

All enquiries and applications should be directed to:
