The Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) and NSW Regional Health Partners (NSWRHP) are seeking a suitable candidate to fulfill the position of Research Project Support Officer - Palliative Care Project.

The role will directly support the "Enabling Better Care at the End of Life for the Central Coast Community" research project being led by CCLHD in association with the Central Coast Research Institute for Integrated Care (CCRI) that is a joint venture between the CCLHD and the University of Newcastle. The research project is supported by the Australian Government’s Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) as part of the Rapid Applied Research Translation program. The Chief Investigator of the project is Professor Nicholas Goodwin, Director of the CCRI, and is managed through the CCLHD Research Office to whom the successful candidate will be accountable.

The successful candidate must possess a high standard of written and oral communication skills. This position also requires attention to detail and a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks.

The position will function in accordance with the policies of the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), the Therapeutic Goods Administration, the policies and guidelines of the NSW Health Office of Health and Medical Research (OHMR) and the CCLHD’s Research Plan and Research Governance Framework.
