The National Ageing Research Institute (NARI) is an independent, non-profit, medical research organisation recognised internationally as a centre of excellence in gerontology and geriatrics research. NARI’s multi-disciplinary team of researchers are committed to improving the life and health of older people through research.

We are currently looking for senior researcher to take the role of Director for the newly established Social Gerontology Division.

This newly created position would suit an experienced researcher with expertise in social gerontology, specifically in the areas of intergenerational relationships, technology, mental health, sexuality, cultural diversity and/or elder abuse. The main duties of the position will include leading existing research projects; developing new projects aligned with NARI’s mission and strategy; and staff and business management
