Research Nurse (Level 2)

Interstitial Lung Disease Service

  • Part time - 32 to 48 hours per fortnight
  • Fixed term - 12 months
  • RN Grade 3B Research

DEPARTMENT OF RESPIRATORY MEDICINE

The Department of Respiratory Medicine has a unique and comprehensive spectrum of expertise in Australia across clinical and basic allergy and advanced adult lung diseases, including severe asthma, emphysema, interstitial lung diseases, sleep apnoea, cystic fibrosis (CF; State Centre of Excellence) and lung transplantation.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting the coordination of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and Interstitial Lung Disease clinical trials and clinical research.

ESSENTIAL

  • Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current practising certificate
  • Minimum 5 years acute nursing experience.
  • Must be proficient in venepuncture
  • Respiratory and/or cardiovascular nursing experience an advantage.
  • Clinical research experience an advantage, but not required, training will be provided
