Use your experience in developing and delivering environmental education and behaviour change initiatives to support our resource recovery and waste management goals in a temporary full time position.
As our Waste Education Officer, you’ll lead the development and delivery of waste education and engagement initiatives. You’ll research, develop and deliver tailored programs to support both Council and the community, including residents, apartment buildings, community groups and local businesses, to avoid, reduce, reuse and recycle waste.
For this position, we’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic professional with:
- experience delivering dynamic environmental education and behaviour change initiatives
- highly developed interpersonal and communicative skills
- proven ability to build relationships and connect with a diverse and complex range of stakeholders
- initiative and autonomy to innovate and explore continuous improvement opportunities as well as plan and deliver high quality projects
- demonstrated ability to perform well in a collaborative environment and positively contribute to the team.
