Accommodation Support Worker

Located 10km from the Perth CBD, the City has a population of over 101,000 and covers an area of 65 sq. km.   We are a changing, progressive and caring Council with a strong set of values that underpin the way we work with each other and the community we serve.   

The Position

This role will be responsible for delivering skill development training in activities of daily living and general support to residents of the accommodation project.

Key areas of accountability for this position will include;

  • Provide support and training in the areas of household and personal financial management;

  • Plan, organise and conduct social and recreational activities of the individual's choice; and

  • Daily documentation of progress notes in client communication book.

You will assist residents to gain access to opportunities for community participation and achieve independent living skills required to maintain a lifestyle similar to other people in the general community.

Salary: $21.37 - $25.37 per hour plus 25% loading (dependent on experience and qualifications) plus Superannuation (age levels apply).
