  • Salary - $89K - $97K per annum + Super
  • Fortnightly RDO
  • Includes evenings and weekends
  • Fixed term full time until 31 December 2021

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Moreland Libraries are about more than just books. Our libraries are vibrant neighbourhood hubs offering social interaction, cultural interactions and learning opportunities. We are seeking a Team Leader who is passionate about providing a high quality service to our diverse community.  

In performing this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will be to engage with our diverse community to provide high quality customer service. Excellent team building and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to develop, deliver and evaluate a range of digital services that respond to community need. Supervise members of the Brunswick Libraries and Digital Services teams. Demonstrated ability to create content for the library website, social media and other digital platforms. Demonstrated experience with creative technologies relevant to Maker Space programs.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE 

  • Ability to lead, motivate and coach staff to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Demonstrable communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to plan and lead projects and programs within agreed timeframes
  • Demonstrable experience in digital service provision
  • Fluency in a community language is desirable
  • A current Victorian Driver’s Licence and Working with Children Check
