ABOUT THE ROLE

Moreland City Libraries is a trusted community resource that is both responsive and agile. Currently, we are seeking a Library Officer to provide high quality customer service in our Moreland libraries.

In performing this role some of your key responsibilities will be to engage with our diverse community to provide excellent customer service. Assist with library initiatives to bridge the digital divide. Provide technology help to library users.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE 

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations
  • Good digital literacy skills
  • Good time management skills
  • A current Victorian Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check
  • Fluency in a community language is desirable
