ABOUT THE ROLE

Moreland City Libraries is offering a fantastic opportunity for a professional educator or librarian who enjoys engaging with the community and working with a dynamic team to provide high quality technology training to the community and staff.  In this position, your key responsibilities will be to engage with staff and our diverse community to provide tailored technology training.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE

  • Ability to consistently lead, motivate and coach staff and to gain the cooperation and support of team members to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Demonstrable teaching skills
  • Ability to contribute to and deliver projects and programs, including developing, planning, implementing, and reviewing, within agreed timeframes
  • Demonstrated experience in organising community-based programs and services to targeted groups
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in Information Technology, including emerging technologies. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with a variety of apps and devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve problems using creativity and originality when required and to defuse potential conflict
