• Permanent full time with access to fortnightly RDO
• $64K - $68K + Super per annum

Moreland City Libraries is offering a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated person to join our team and make a difference in young people's lives within a public library setting. 

Key aspects of this role include:

• Performing customer service duties;
• Organising, promoting and delivering activities for young people and their families;
• Community engagement and outreach to promote library services and literacy program offerings for children and youth;
• Organising activities for children, young people and parents to assist with bridging the digital divide;
• Providing relief in these areas at other service points as required;
• Reporting on routine program outcomes;
• Assisting with the organisation and maintenance of the children’s and youth collections;
• Assisting with extension activities to adults.
  
  

The successful candidate will have experience and expertise in children's services and digital literacy. They will have great communication, customer service, time management and team work skills.

To be successful in this role, you are required to have either a Diploma of Library and Information Services, a Diploma of Youth Work, or a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. You will also be required to have a current Working With Children Check.
