Morobe Street Children's Centre in Heidelberg West is looking for a passionate and innovative Early Childhood Educator with a Diploma qualification to join their team. This is a permanent full time position where you will be leading the toddler room, undertaking planning and programming and providing valuable contribution to the services.

As our diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator you will ensure the provision of a high quality innovative educational program that meets the individual needs of the children aged from birth to 6 years. You will also ensure the care and education program aligns with our Early Childhood Services Philosophy.

We can offer you $59,557 - $63,518 plus super, learning and development opportunities, discounted gym membership, and access to a range of Council benefits. 

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Successful completion of Diploma in Early Childhood Services.
  • Knowledge of the Education and Care Service National Regulations 2011 and Education and Care Service National Law Act 2010.
  • Awareness of cultural needs of families.
  • Effective communication with families, professionals, and people from diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Awareness of cultural needs of families.
  • Conflict management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Community language is highly desirable
  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and working with children check.
