Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is the University’s central IT department and is responsible for keeping the University connected through continuously improving the reliability and effectiveness of its information and communications technology. ICT is responsible for ensuring the University realises technology-enabled change by developing strong partnerships with educators and researchers; using existing and emerging technologies innovatively throughout the University; and cultivating communities and forums for educators, researchers, and students to collaborate and share their technology innovation within the University.

The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for the delivery of technology services to the University and ensures that the portfolio of services under their responsibility are governed and delivered consistently and efficiently. You will focus on:

  • Delivering a portfolio of IT-centric services
  • Strategic planning, setting strategies for current and future services and identify areas of improvement
  • Leadership and implementation, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Relationship and engagement, acting as a critical link between ICT support teams, stakeholders, and engagement teams
  • Portfolio management, service cost tracking, and forecasting demand for IT services.

To ensure success in this role you will have:

  • A demonstrated ability to manage and maintain services, technologies, or products in complex environments
  • Working knowledge of the higher education sector, major business processes, and key performance indicators
  • Solid planning, financial, and performance management skills
  • Relationship management or sales experience with primary accountability for client relationships at all levels
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
