We are seeking a Compliance and Assurance Manager to join our team.  The purpose of this role is to develop, monitor and maintain an assurance program for the School. This is a hands-on role which will partner with and provide support to School Leaders in implementing agreed assurance finding recommendations; ensuring compliance and management of risk and assist in managing responses to regulators, and auditors on compliance and regulatory related matters.

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Proven capability in internal/external audit disciplines, including planning, methodology and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to deliver assurance recommendations and findings which take account of stakeholder operating environments/constraints
• Evidence of strong stakeholder engagement and ability to support the implementation of remediation recommendations
• Deep understanding of methodologies and software tools to support the assurance and risk management processes
• Proven experience in the interpretation and application of relevant regulation and legislation
• Formal qualifications in Risk Management, accounting, assurance and/or governance gained in a medium to large enterprise

You will come to Caulfield Grammar School with strong leadership and management skills, sound financial and commercial acumen, a high degree of judgement/negotiation a proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders and partner internal departments to achieve commercial outcomes.

This role will support the whole school and as such will require regular travel between each of campuses.
