Role Type: Fixed Term (Maternity leave cover)

Remuneration: Min. $ 94,798 + superannuation (dependent on qualification & experience)


At Bendigo Kangan Institute (BKI) our purpose is to deliver innovative learning solutions for individuals, industry and communities that facilitate real employment outcomes by putting the student at the centre of everything we do. We are currently seeking an experienced OHS & Wellbeing Lead Consultant to join our Organisational Capability team at Richmond to replace a current employee who is going on maternity leave.

The Role:

Working with the Institute to implement and maintain systems, processes and data to enable the identification and minimisation of OHS risks and contribute to the development of appropriate actions and strategies to minimise that risk.

Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing within manufacturing or other high risk environments, formal OHS qualification

  • Proven experience the identification and management of hazards, risks and incidents and the application of ICAM or other incident investigation methodologies

  • Ability to self-motivate and provide a customer focus in the application of their skill

  • Proven experience in the proactive management of worker compensation, claims and the management of claims costs

Qualification:

  • Degree or Post Graduate qualification and experience in occupational health & safety and or experience, or extensive management and leadership experience or an equivalent combination of relevant management and leadership experience and or education or training. Principal Specialist in a recognised discipline or specialist area

  • Current Drivers Licence
