The City of Sydney Library provides a space for our vibrant communities to grow, learn connect and create. The Library operates across nine branches including our brand new state of the art library at Green Square and our Darling Square library which is due for completion in 2019.
We are seeking a leader and tech enthusiast who can drive new ideas, develop and deliver a technology strategy for libraries and to enhance digital access and participation for healthy and engaged communities. This role will oversee a team of Technology Coordinators responsible for library systems and public facing technology.
You will need well developed leadership skills, including day to day people management and long term planning, experience in delivering projects or programs from idea to implementation, and a deep understanding of the role of technology in lifelong learning.
It is essential that you hold tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Creative Intelligence and Innovation, Data Analysis, Communications, Libraries or equivalent.
